The fastest MINI with the roof gone, and the one we hand over most. A JCW Convertible rental brings 228 hp, firmer suspension, upgraded brakes, and an exhaust that pops on the overrun, in a car light enough to make every corner feel like an event. Ours is black with red accents, seats four, and drops its canvas top in eighteen seconds at speeds up to 18 mph. Sixty arrives in 6.1 seconds. Take it when the coast road is the plan.

MINI Countryman
The practical one, and the only MINI with real cargo space. A Countryman rental seats five with a proper trunk, which makes it the pick for a weekend away rather than a night out. Ours is white, and it's the easiest MINI to live with for a few days — small enough for a city garage, big enough for the luggage. The cheapest way into the badge we carry.

MINI Cooper S Hardtop
The one everyone pictures. A Cooper S rental puts 189 hp through the front wheels of a car short enough to park anywhere, with steering quick enough that drivers call it a go-kart and mean it as a compliment. Two doors, four seats, and 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. The most fun you can have without leaving a city.

The Cooper S with the restraint removed, in fixed-roof form. A JCW Hardtop rental brings the same 228 hp and hardware as our Convertible, with a stiffer shell and slightly sharper responses. What You Need to Book a Mini

Age
21 and up takes either Cooper. The Mini rental age requirement rides with the named driver on the booking.

License and card
A valid driver's license and a credit card in your own name. Visiting from overseas? Bring a passport and your home-country license, too.

Insurance
Your own full-coverage policy covers it, as long as it includes comprehensive, collision, and liability coverage and extends to a rental. If not, Mini rental insurance through us has you covered, sorted before the car turns up.

Deposit
A refundable $500 hold, back in your account 3 to 5 business days after we look the car over. The Mini rental security deposit is the gentlest we ask for, fitting for the friendliest car.

Mileage
150 miles a day comes included, with any extra quoted before you sign, so the Mini rental mileage limit never trips you up.

The booking covers one named driver; add a second at the time of reservation, and we clear their paperwork the same way.
